Jeff Lambert for Gympie Regional Council

I have resided with my wife Judith at Traveston for nearly 20 years. Both Judith and myself have always been significantly engaged in community matters. In the last five years this activity has increasingly involved Council matters as they have come to impact heavily upon our community.

Local Government is the grass roots of our three-tier level of government. Not to deny the importance of the upper levels of Government, local Government (LG) involves our living and amenity environments and therefore has the most impact on our every day lives. It is important that our representatives reflect the integrity and openness that is needed in LG management. In my experience this is not evident in the majority of the current Council. This is a malady that will continue to affect our community unless significant change is implemented at Councillor level.

This election is an opportunity to vote for change and I would be privileged to represent you in pursuit of the above aims.
